Following graduation from Providence College, David Kelley studied graphic design and painting at the Rhode Island School of Design. Since then he has been a practicing professional artist in two fields. As a designer-illustrator, he has consulted with publishers, advertisers, high tech, and sports related companies. As an artist, he evolved from a traditional into a more graphic oriented painter of sports and wildlife which have won him awards in all corners of the country. With the birth of the Macintosh computer, much of his work became digital and includes scientific and medical illustration for publishers, and in the fine arts . . . what you see on this website.
